Grand Tour

Would any of our imaginations be interested in hosting a "Grand Tour" for a 28mm figure from the Duchy of Tradgardland. I imagined him being sent through the mail from country to country and appearing in your battles (as an observer of course and/or staff member ) and your blogs. My idea is at an embryonic stage but I wondered who was up for it...

Cavenderia would love to host him. However put our visit late in the tour as I need to work on acquiring more 28mm to form vignettes and have still not been able to publish the record of the Reich Duke's visit.

That sounds interesting. I loaned Der Alte Fritz several figures for his Jacobite campaign (who have since returned to the fold). Although our group's 2010 gaming schedule hasn't been developed, I will be having an imagi-nation game on Oct. 17. Contact me at jmcp1650 AT comcast DOT net if you want to try it this early. He can be an observer for either the Imperial forces or the Electoral forces as they continue their conflict in the Thuringen area.

I may have to defer the offer in my previous post to sometime in 2010. I've had to switch my game on Oct 17 to Oct 3 to accommodate the GM who is running the earlier game.

But still get in touch with me as I'll have some more games next year where a Tradgardlander can be featured.

Reich Duke Wilhelm von Beerstein would certainly welcome a brilliant staff officer for his pending campaign against the Coalition of Colon. High adventure, military honor, and promotion await this brave lad!

We here at the Lair of the Uber Geek would be happy to host the gentlemen in question upon both our tabletop battlefield and perhaps for a quick sail on the Chesapeake. Of course I would insist on him wearing an appropriate flotation device

Sounds great, I'm sure he would have a enojoyable time visiting the Kingdom of Wittenberg. Plenty of places to visit and the opportunity to observe military operations

Bill Protz also has done this before ... I think it's a great idea.
But it will be next year before I have mounted figures ready ... all I've got now are infantry and a few guns
99% of my gaming these days is 15 mm!
