Grand Tour spurned by the Kingdom of Wittenberg

Upon reaching the new palace of King Leopold IV and Queen Catherine the Gardes Suisses, who are assigned to guard the palace, informed Reich Duke Wilhelm that no special quests were expected. So with great disappointment and heavy hearts, the Grand Tour will move on to Frankszonia.

Maybe the Royal Tourists simply moved faster than expected?

We'll get the grills fired up and bring a few kegs out of hiding ... and make those frogs ... uh, our gallant Gallian allies, provide suitable escort!!!

We have some excellent vintages, laid down shortly after the 30 Years War ///
And the Gallians around here have some vintages that they're proud of, so the official reception will definitely be Later-In-The-Day!

And if all goes as hoped, there will be a "special surprise".

It would appear that the officer responsible for issuing the daily orders omitted the Reich Duke's party from the visitor's list; he is currently under detention awaiting the King's pleasure. The guards on the gate at the time have also been detained, pending an enquiry.

The king has sent a personal letter of apology to the Reich Duke, along with a present of a gold and enamelled travelling clock.

Duchess Lynda and the other ladies simply must see Queen Catherine's new palace and the famous Wittenberg Menagerie. We shall return to the Kingdom of Wittenberg after enjoying the hospitality of Frankszonia...

King Basil is saddened, but looks forward for the rest of the Tour. But ominous clouds gather in the South.

OOPS!!

I've worked up a nice scenario for the visit ... with encouragement from "Stagonian Jeff" ... which will, of course, include Lady Pettygree and Mdmle Charade.

HOWEVER:
Due to our separate problems health and computer wise, Jeff and I have both lost track of the names and origins of the key members of the tour ... Which one is whose love interest ... etc.

Capt. Bill, can you forgive an old foggy and provide us with cheat sheet?

Prinz Wilhelm II, Baron von Brewswick has been seeing Lady Louise von Pilsner since meeting at the University of Pabst. Captain Ritter von Meltz is Prinz Wilhelm good friend. They both serve in the Pilsner Horse Grenadiers. Hope this has been helpful.
